Ogni puntata dura venti minuti e saranno tre i brani proposti dal disco scelto. Nella maggior parte dei casi, si tratterà di lavori pubblicati di recente, in modo da esplorare insieme agli ascoltatori il panorama del jazz dei nostri giorni. Di tanto in tanto, però, ci concederemo degli excursus nel passato o in territori musicali altri: se per i grandi capolavori della storia del jazz non c’è bisogno di troppe spiegazioni, gli “sconfinamenti” verso linguaggi diversi ci condurranno verso dischi che possono essere, a ragione o a torto, secondo prospettive dirette o trasversali, annoverati tra le ispirazioni dei jazzisti che troviamo oggi sui palchi dei festival e negli scaffali dei negozi di dischi.
